ODAS 2024

ODAS 2024 will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the DLR-ONERA cooperation on Rotorcraft Research and thus will be devoted to

“Very Short Range Passenger Air Transport incl. Rotorcraft and Advanced Air Mobility”

which contains all passenger air transport up to 500 km range, civil and military, including rotorcraft, tilt rotor, general aviation and all types of Advanced Air Mobility.

May include the followings topics

  • Vehicle oriented studies including: acoustics & aerodynamics of aircraft; aircraft design; drag prediction methods; aircraft systems, avionics & sensors; airworthiness of aircraft; manufacturing and structures of aircrafts; propulsion (incl. elect. propulsion); lightning protection; MRO aspects
  • Related fundamental disciplinary issues including: acoustics; aerodynamics & couplings; aeromechanics & dynamics; aeroelasticity; VRS; engines & propulsion (incl. electric propulsion); flight mechanics; manufacturing & materials
  • ATM, UTM including: procedures & environment; ground infrastructure; crew station & human factors; multi-sensors scenarios
  • Human factors and training, man machine interaction including: test & evaluation; operational aspects; safety aspects in operation and design; simulation & training
  • Future scenarios and missions for very short range air transport including: operational & environmental aspects; safety aspects; global efficiency and energy cost evaluation

  • The conference proceedings will not be placed in the public domain but will be made available to participants.
